1. Scope

This website (hereinafter referred to as the Gübelin website) is provided by Gübelin AG and its parent company as well as its sister companies (hereinafter referred to as the Gübelin Group). Use of the Gübelin website is only permissible under the terms of use specified here. By accessing the Gübelin website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the following Terms of Use and that you agree with them. You also consent to being bound by all applicable laws as well as all other applicable rules and conditions. If you do not agree with the following terms, you must refrain from using the Gübelin website. The Gübelin Group reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use in whole or in part at any time without prior notification. Unless expressly indicated otherwise, the new terms shall apply immediately to all information, disclosures, goods and services on this website. If you continue to use the Gübelin website, you will be deemed to have accepted the amendments. The German version of these Terms of Use is the only binding version.


2. Intellectual property rights

All rights, titles and claims (including copyright, trade marks, patent and other intellectual property rights as well as other rights) to all information and content (including all text, data, graphics, sounds and log-os) on the Gübelin website are held solely by the Gübelin Group or the respective legal owner. 

No licence or other rights of any kind to use the intellectual property contained therein, including trade marks and copyrights, shall be granted by using the Gübelin website. Use of this information and con-tent is only permitted for purely personal, non-commercial purposes. Users are not permitted to copy this information and content, to duplicate it, publish it, send it, sell it or imitate it or to use it for public or commercial purposes without written permission from the Gübelin Group.

The Gübelin Group explicitly draws attention to the fact that the Gübelin website also contains images that are subject to third parties’ copyrights.

The Gübelin website may contain content from third parties or links to third parties’ websites. This con-tent and these links are solely to make the website more user-friendly and provide information. The Gübelin Group does not have any control over third parties’ content or websites; it assumes no respon-sibility of any kind or warranty for this content or these websites and makes no assurances of any kind regarding them. This includes inter alia the accuracy, content, quality or relevance of these websites. The Gübelin Group is not liable for third parties’ content or websites which link to the Gübelin website or display it in frames.

8. Place of jurisdiction and applicable law

These Terms of Use as well as all questions and disputes associated with use of this website are sub-ject to Swiss law, to the exclusion of international private law and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

The ordinary courts of Lucerne, Switzerland, are exclusively responsible for disputes associated with use of the Gübelin website. The Gübelin Group is entitled to assert its rights against the customer before the competent court of the customer's place of domicile or before any other competent court.
