With a rich history of more than two centuries of Swiss elite Haute Horlogerie, Girard-Perregaux timepieces and collections are the fruit of a subtle alliance between tradition and cutting-edge technology. The aim for excellence, while respecting the history, encourages innovation and promotes expertise and authenticity, resulting in unique creations.
Some of the 19th century watch designs are still manufactured today. The legendary original Esmeralda tourbillon with three gold bridges was awarded the gold medal at the 1889 Universal Exhibition in Paris. The unique idea lives on and is now an integral part of the Bridges collection.
Located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the cradle of Swiss watchmaking, Girard-Perregaux is firmly committed to anchoring its vision of traditional horlogerie in the future and continues to refine its watchmaking with a range of instruments that look beyond the present while remaining attuned to the proud company history which began back in 1791.
