Aurora

On the 24^th of October 2019, the House of Gübelin's new Aurora world with its jewellery line "Splendid Feather" as well as the new masterpiece "Rising Lotus" were unveiled and presented to invited guests in Zurich. Mr Raphael Gübelin himself led the friends of the House through the evening, relating stories about his travels to the beautiful island of Sri Lanka, his experiences there having been the driving force behind the creation of Aurora. Our esteemed guests were treated to an evening filled with the mysterious atmosphere of a sunrise over Sri Lanka and enjoyed the inspiring performance of various artists.

An intimate live performance by Prima Ballerina Yen Han was followed by the unveiling of the world's first masterpiece and marked the highlight of this special evening. The artist is one of Switzerland's most renowned female dancers, her international career having been a constant stream of outstanding performances in both classical and contemporary dance. The guests were delighted by the soft movements of the dance, which culminated in the opening of a sculptural lotus blossom in which the new masterpiece was revealed.
