The traditional British brand
Based in London under the direction of Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey, the brand has a global reputation for pioneering design and fabrics.
Established in 1856 by British inventor Thomas Burberry, the brand has a history of innovation and discovery.
Chosen by the great explorers of the day including Shackleton, Amundsen and the trans-Atlantic aviators Alcock and Brown, Burberry today has become defined by its authentic outerwear heritage and the iconic trench coat. Through the exploration of unique brand innovations such as Burberry Acoustic, Art of the Trench and fully immersive runway shows, Burberry continues to connect heritage with cutting-edge technology and digital media.
It is this same dedication to embracing leading edge ideas, while blending them with the heritage of the brand that drives the Burberry timepiece collection. Recognized for their function and admired for their style, Burberry timepieces are true modern classics.
In 2006, a team of Swiss engineers, technicians and entrepreneurs dreamed of developing a watch movement company that embodied their passion and craftsmanship – a company that would stand for customer satisfaction and technical innovation. After six years of development and testing, Swiss Technology Production SA (STP) became a reality. Fossil Group owned, STP opened its doors in 2012 and began production and assembly of the first caliber, STP1-11, an automatic three-hand calendar 11½" ligne with a 44-hour power reserve.
A celebration of innovation and craftsmanship, The Britain is a modern, elegant collection of watches for men and women. Designed in Britain and crafted in Switzerland, each watch features a distinctive octagonal face with details inspired by Burberry heritage, including D-ring shaped bezels and an iconic trench coat colour palette.
Inspired by the timeless elegance of London, "The Classic Round" line captures the essence of the past, the present and the future. The highlight is the traditional check design. Reinterpreted each season, it features sometimes on the face, and sometimes on the strap – and defines ladies watches that are perfect for such a diverse and exciting city as London.
Inspired by London’s iconic skyline of modern and classic architecture, The City is a collection of watches that captures the vibrancy of the capital. The angular shapes are further reflected in the links of the bracelet, the octagonal crown and the lugs. A combination of colour-plated metal bracelets, round cases and soft leather straps feature in this collection.
Inspired by the entrepreneurial Burberry spirit, The Pioneer is a distinctive collection of dress watches for women. Created as jewellery, the watches are decorative and lightweight by design. Elegant rectangular cases, iconic check and integrated strap jewellery feature in this collection.
Influenced by the military heritage of Burberry, The Utilitarian is a collection of vintage-inspired watches. The oversized face, indices and antique gold finish add to the classic appearance. Round cases and smooth leather straps feature in this collection.
